Documents Needed
For Export:
The applicant is required to submit the following documents to the Licensing Officer within 5 working days from the date of submission of the application:
- a catalogue or brochure or Safety Datasheet showing the type of explosives to be Exported;
- for Export of explosives, the Purchase Order and End User Certificate (EUC) from the company / government agency where the explosives are to be exported to;
- Import permit/licence from the country of the final destination;
- Bill of Lading or Airway Bill; and
- Invoice from the supplier.
For Import:
The applicant is required to submit the following documents to the Licensing Officer within 5 working days from the date of submission of the application:
- a catalogue or brochure or Safety Datasheet showing the type of explosives to be imported;
- for import explosives, the Purchase Order or End User Certificate (EUC);
- EUC and Import permit/licence from the country of origin;
- Bill of Lading or Airway Bill; and
- Invoice from the supplier.
Requirements
The applicant must hold a Licence to Deal in Explosives before he can apply for a Licence to Import or Export Explosives.
